Picking Up and Registering Your Vehicle
  1. To find out if your vehicle has arrived yet, contact the Navy Personal Owned Vehicle Pickup Station at (671) 339-2205. The station is located in Building No. #3179 off Sumay Road on at Big Navy.
  2. Get a temporary permit at the Department of Motor Vehicles in order to legally drive – take note that the permit will expire at 3pm on the day of issue.  Before you head to pick up your vehicle, be sure you have your driver’s license, military ID, proof of registration, original vehicle registration and your shipping documents.
  3. You’ll need to get a vehicle safety inspection – part of the requirement in order to legally register your vehicle.  You can get an inspection at the Big Navy Autoport, located in Building No. 257 right next to the Navy Exchange.  Call (671) 339-5455 for further details and cost.
  4. Finally you’ll go back to DMV to finish the process and obtain your Guam license plates.
